Fast Document Translation_Machine Translation + Post-Editing (MTPE)

MTPE applicable scenarios:

The client has a batch of documents that need to be translated, the translation volume is large and the time is tight, and the client wants to get the translated manuscript in a short time.

There are certain requirements for quality, such as professional vocabulary, etc., but not particularly high, and the budget is very limited, if the normal translation process is followed, the time and amount will exceed expectations for the client.

According to the specific needs of customers, the translation mode of machine translation + post-editing (MTPE) is adapted to sub-translation projects.

We can provide:

Fast Translation Process:

1. The source file is pre-translated and converted into a document that can be edited.

2. Import editable documents into the CAT tool.

3. Associate existing memory banks and termbases for pre-translation. (if any)

4. Access the machine translation engine to machine translate the entire project.

5. Manually edit the results of machine translation, check low errors, professional vocabulary, mistranslations, and organize sentence structure.

6. Use CAT's QA tool to check and adjust accordingly according to QA opinions.

7. Generate the translation, adjust the file format, and deliver the final draft.

Machine Translation Engine:

There are now many machine translation engines in the industry, for different files, we will test in advance which translation engine is most suitable for the current project file, and then decide to use a matching machine translation engine based on the test results.

Our machine translation platform supports the top 8 common machine translation engines, including the most commonly used DeepL and Google MT.

Post-Editing Translator Selection:

Although it is an MTFE project, we will also be more careful in selecting translators. Select senior translators with MTPE experience and at least 3-5 grade experience in the principles of MTFE to edit the translation, and the translation process is not relaxed in detail.
